Shivratri Celebrations

Shivratri was celebrated in collaboration with Brahmakumaris. Message from Deepa Budhdev, Brahmakumaris organiser "“God has descended on earth and is inviting his sweet children to self-transform through his teachings of Godly Knowledge and Rajyoga Meditation”. With this theme, the Brahmakumaris World Spiritual University celebrated this year’s Shivrathri in a grand manner.

Organized in the beautiful, green campus of the Suncity Apartments in Iblur, the main objective of the program was to convey the spiritual significance of Shivrathri, who really is “Shiv” – the Supreme Soul, why does he come in the “night” (in fact the true meaning of “night”), and the secret behind “Jagaran” (staying awake at night). To enable this message to reach many, the organizers created a mobile stage using a bus. The inside of the bus was converted into a mini theater. Visitors were first taken through a picture exhibition of “God’s True Knowledge”, outside the bus. They were then seated inside the bus for an audio-visual experience of “Self-transformation through Rajyoga Meditation”. The program was delivered in Hindi, English and Kannada.
