Where is the polling booth for casting my vote?

The polling booth for voters falling under part no. 41, 42, 43 is Govt. Higher Primary School,Ibbaluru. This is near to Ibblur bus stop and a walkable distance from suncity. You can view the location on Google map also.

When do I vote?

The voting for Bangalore south will happen on 17th April, 2014 (Thursday). The polling booths will open from 7:00 AM onwards.

What is needed for voting?

Make sure your name exists on voting list. Make a note of part number and serial number on voter list. Apart from that you will need a photo identity proof to vote. You can take an identity proof along with you: PAN card, passport, driving license or any other recognised identity proof issued by the Government of India.

EPIC card or Voter slip are not mandatory for voting.

How long will it take me to vote?

There are separate polling booths for each part number. It generally takes less than 10 minutes to vote. We recommend you vote early in the morning. The polling starts at 7:00 am.

If you fall under AC No. 175 and part No. 39, 40, then you have to go to vote in HSR layout. The google location is here.

I lost my EPIC card?

You can vote if you don't have a Voter ID / Electors' Photo Identity Card (EPIC) card but it is mandatory that your name should be present in the Voter list / Electoral roll. You can show a valid photo identity card like the driving license, passport on the day of polling as an alternative for Voter's ID card

I have EPIC card but my name is not showing in voter list?

But if your name is not showing in voter list, then you cannot vote.
